Use the Workspace and account settings to manage your and your team's ClickUp experience.
Workspace settings are opened from the Workspace avatar in the upper-left corner. Your account settings are opened from your personal avatar in the upper-right corner.
Who can use Workspace and account settings?
All users can edit most preferences in account settings.
The use of Workspace settings varies depending on user role and permissions in the following way:

Account settings menu and personal avatar
Customize your Workspace experience in account settings.
To open your account settings menu:
- In the upper-right corner, click your personal avatar.

Mute notifications
- Clear status: You'll see this option if you've set a status.

- Download ClickUp: Download the ClickUp desktop and mobile apps, extensions, and other apps.
- Help: Open the Resource Center for onboarding assistance, to contact Support or Sales, and to access these tools:

Workspace settings menu and Workspace avatar
Settings are displayed in the account menu depending on your user role and custom role permissions.
Workspace settings are accessible from the Workspace avatar. This is where settings for the entire Workspace are managed.
To open the Workspace Settings menu:
- In the upper-left corner, click your Workspace avatar.
These settings are available to guests and limited members:
- Settings: The Settings tab gives guests access to the Workspace's trash and their Personal Tools.
- Apps: Guests can view the App Center, but only Workspace owners, admins, and members can connect apps.
- Templates: Guests can only access templates for Docs, tasks, views, checklists, and Whiteboards. Guests with edit or full permissions can access the Template Center from items that have been shared with them.
- Automations: Guests and limited members can view Automations, but only Workspace owners, admins, and members can create Automations. Limited members can create Automations in locations where they have edit or full edit permissions.
These settings are available in the Manage section when admins, owners, and members click their Workspace avatar:

Settings: Click this tab to open the Workspace Settings page and the All settings sidebar. You can access your Personal Tools in the All settings sidebar.
- From the Workspace Settings page, owners can transfer Workspace ownership and delete the Workspace.
- From the Workspace Settings page, Enterprise Workspaces can enable White label.
- People: Click this tab to open the Manage people page. This is where you invite members to your Workspace, convert user roles, set individual guest permissions, and perform other user management tasks.

- Work Schedule: This feature is only accessible to owners and admins.

- Audit Logs: This feature is only accessible to owners on the Enterprise Plan.
