Create tasks, reminders, Docs, and more from anywhere in your Workspace.

Pinning an item to the toolbar only applies to you. It won't pin items for anyone else in your Workspace.

What you'll need

• Personal Tools are available on all ClickUp plans.
• Everyone, including guests, can use Personal Tools.

Customize the toolbar in ClickUp 4.0

In ClickUp 4.0, you can pin or unpin the following Personal Tools to your toolbar:

Pin or unpin items in ClickUp 4.0

To pin or unpin a Personal Tool to the toolbar in ClickUp 4.0:

1. In the upper-right corner, click your personal avatar.
2. Under Personal Tools, click the pin icon to pin or unpin the available tools.

The Create task tool cannot be unpinned.

Customize the toolbar in ClickUp 3.0

In ClickUp 3.0, you can pin or unpin the following items in the Quick Action menu to your toolbar:

• My Profile: Open your Profile.
• My Tasks: Open the My Work tab in your Profile.
• Calendar: Open the Calendar. 
• Track Time: Track time on a task.
• Notepad: Create a note to reference later.
• Clips: Record a Workspace video to share with others.
• Reminder: Create a reminder for yourself or someone else.
• New Doc: Create a new Doc.
• Whiteboard: Create a new Whiteboard.
• People: Open the AI Command Bar with the People filter activated.
• Dashboard: Create a new Dashboard.
• AI Notetaker: Open the AI Notetaker menu.

Pin or unpin items in ClickUp 3.0

To pin or unpin a Quick Action menu item to your toolbar in ClickUp 3.0:

1. In the toolbar, click the grid icon to open the Quick Action menu.
2. Hover over an item.
3. In the upper-right corner of the icon, click the pin icon.
