What are work schedules?
Workspace owners and admins can set their organization's work schedule by selecting which days and hours employees are expected to work. You can add holidays and other company-wide non-working days.
When you're scheduling tasks and managing projects throughout your Workspace, the work schedule is taken into account, so your tasks won't start or be due on a non-working day.
Work schedule settings
The following table describes the available work schedule settings:
| Setting | Description | Example |
| Workweek | Set the working days of the week for your organization. The default is Monday to Friday. | Your coffee shop is open on weekends, so you select Tuesday to Sunday as your work week. |
| Working hours |
Set the working hours for your organization. The default is 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
You can use the same hours for every day, or customize the hours for each day of your workweek. |
Your coffee shop is open early in the morning, so you set your working hours as 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.
For the summer season, you keep your coffee shop open later than typical on Saturday and Sunday. You set the working hours for Saturday and Sunday as 6:00 am to 5:00 pm. |
| Non-working days and exceptions | Add any public holidays by selecting your country, and add any specific organization-wide days off as exceptions. |
Your coffee shop observes the public holidays for the United States.
