Intro to the mobile app

Use the ClickUp mobile app to update tasks, reply to comments, access Dashboards, complete reminders, and much more.

What you'll need

  • The ClickUp mobile app is available on every ClickUp plan.
  • Everyone, including guests, can use the ClickUp mobile app.
  • The ClickUp mobile app is only available in English.
  • The ClickUp mobile app is only available for iOS and Android devices.
  • When using the ClickUp mobile app, timezone changes are not detected.

ClickUp mobile features

ClickUp mobile is great for taking quick action, though certain features are too big to fit on a small screen at this time. We want to provide the most value possible without compromising the ClickUp mobile experience.

Use ClickUp mobile Use the browser or desktop app
Create and edit tasks. Use Whiteboards.
Create reminders. Use Gantt view.
Comment on tasks and assign work. Create and edit Dashboards.
Track time on tasks. Set time estimates on tasks.
Check and clear notifications. Change billing and account settings.
Create and edit notes in the Notepad. Use Goals.
Create and edit Relationships. Create, edit, or apply templates.
Change task statuses, descriptions, or locations within the Hierarchy. Add new Custom Fields.
Edit existing Custom Fields. Invite guests to your Workspace.
See Dashboard data.  
Invite members to your Workspace.  
Use Chat to communicate with your team.

Use the Quick Action menu

In the lower-right corner of the app, tap More to access the Quick Action menu.

From the Quick Action menu, you can:

Create a task

Create tasks by tapping the Quick Create icon in the lower-right corner.

Use Chat

Use mobile Chat to communicate with your team, create action items from messages, and use AI to get caught up from anywhere.

Use Personal List

Quickly add items to your Personal List on the mobile app. Personal List on mobile syncs with your Personal List on ClickUp's browser and desktop applications.

Set a default launch page

By default, your mobile launch page is Home. You can change your default launch page in your settings.

The Sidebar

Open the Sidebar from Home, Lists, Folders, or Spaces.

Swipe right from the left side of your screen or tap the Sidebar menu icon in the upper-left corner to open the Sidebar. Swipe down from the middle of the Sidebar to refresh it.

You can take the following actions from the Sidebar:

Action Description
Switch Workspaces In the upper-left corner, tap your Workspace name to switch to another one.
Create Workspaces In the upper-left corner, tap your Workspace name and select Create Workspace to create a new Workspace.
Settings In the upper-right corner, tap the settings icon to turn on Dark Mode, enable or disable sound effects, and more.
Search At the top, tap Search and start typing to locate tasks, files, Docs, and more throughout your Workspace.
Home Check tasks, reminders, and more from the Home page.
Inbox Check your notifications.
Favorites See all of your Favorites. Tap on any favorited item to open that location in ClickUp.
Spaces

Access your ClickUp Hierarchy:

• Search: Search for a specific Space, Folder, or List.

• Create: Create Spaces, Folders, Lists, and Docs at any level of the Hierarchy.

• Shared with me: See any items that have been shared with you.

Shared with me is displayed for guests only.

• Everything: See every task in your entire Workspace.

• Expand: Tap the expand icon next to a Space or Folder to browse its contents.
Dashboards Check your Dashboards from your phone. New Dashboards cannot be created from the mobile app.
Docs Find or create Docs quickly using the following options:

• All: Tap to see all Docs you can access.

• Assigned to me: Tap to see all Docs assigned to you.

• Shared with me: Tap to see all Docs shared with you.

• Private: Tap to see all private Docs you can access.

Task view

Work on tasks from anywhere using our redesigned mobile task view.

Home

The Home page is your centralized place to work on the ClickUp mobile app.

Customizable cards allow you to create a tailored hub for all your work. Use them to track tasks, reminders, and events from anywhere.

Inbox

Use the new Inbox to keep track of your ClickUp notifications on the mobile app.

The Mobile Navigation bar

Quickly navigate around your Workspace using the Mobile Navigation bar at the bottom.

Use it to open:

  • Home
  • My List
  • Inbox
  • Search
  • Quick Action menu

Log in troubleshooting

If you're having trouble logging into your account, try an alternate method by tapping the Other Sign In Options at the bottom of your screen.
