Use Personal List on mobile

Quickly add items to your Personal List from the mobile app. Personal List on mobile syncs with your Personal List on ClickUp's browser and desktop applications.

What is Personal List?

Personal List is a List of tasks that live separately from the ClickUp Hierarchy. You can quickly create new tasks in Personal List without having to navigate through several Spaces, Folders, and Lists.

When you create a task from any non-Hierarchy area, its location will default to your Personal List.

Open Personal List in ClickUp 4.0

There are multiple ways to open Personal List on the mobile app in ClickUp 4.0.

From My Tasks

To open Personal List from My Tasks on the mobile app:

  1. At the bottom of Home, Inbox, or the More page, tap My Tasks.
  2. Under My Lists, tap Personal list.

From the Hierarchy

To open Personal List from the Hierarchy on the mobile app:

  1. From the left side of your screen, swipe right to open the sidebar.
  2. Tap Personal List.

There are multiple ways to open Personal List on the mobile app in ClickUp 3.0.

From My Work

To open Personal List from My Work on the mobile app:

  1. At the bottom of Home, Chat, or Inbox, tap My Work.
  2. At the top, tap Personal List.

From the Hierarchy

To open Personal List from the Hierarchy on the mobile app:

  1. From the left side of your screen, swipe right to open the sidebar.
  2. Tap Spaces to expand the Hierarchy.
  3. Tap Personal List.

Create tasks in Personal List in ClickUp 4.0

You can create new tasks from Personal List, or add other tasks in your Workspace to Personal List if you have the Tasks in Multiple Lists ClickApp activated in your Workspace. Inversely, you can add tasks in Personal List to other Lists if this ClickApp is activated.

From Personal List

To create a task from Personal List on the mobile app:

  1. From Personal List, tap + Add new Task at the bottom.
  2. Name your task and add any additional details.
  3. Tap Create.

Quick-create a task

To quick-create a Personal List task on the mobile app:

  1. At the bottom of Home, Inbox, or the My Tasks, tap the plus icon.
  2. Name of your task and add additional optional info.
  3. Tap Create.

Create tasks in Personal List in ClickUp 3.0

You can create new tasks from Personal List, or add other tasks in your Workspace to Personal List if you have the Tasks in Multiple Lists ClickApp activated in your Workspace. Inversely, you can add tasks in Personal List to other Lists if this ClickApp is activated.

From Personal List

To create a task from Personal List on the mobile app:

  1. From Personal List, tap + Add new Task.

  3. Tap Create.

Quick-create a task

To quick-create a Personal List task on the mobile app:

  1. At the bottom of Home, Chat, Inbox, or My Work, tap Create.
  2. Tap Task.
  3. Name of your task and add any optional details.
  4. Tap Create.

Sorting, filtering, and grouping tasks in Personal List on mobile

Updating, sorting, filtering, and grouping tasks works the same in Personal List as it does in other Lists on the mobile app.
