Find specific tasks, files, Docs, and more on the ClickUp mobile app.

What you'll need

• Mobile search is available on all ClickUp plans.
• Everyone, including guests, can search for and see items they have permission to access on the mobile app.

What can be searched

You can use mobile search to find the following:

• Tasks
• Docs, Doc pages, and Doc views
• Channels
• Locations, including Spaces, Folders, and Lists
• People
• Direct messages
• Dashboards
• Attachments
• Apps outside of ClickUp

Search for items on the mobile app

You can start searching from the Sidebar, Home, Inbox, and My Work.

Search from the Sidebar

To search from the Sidebar:

1. Open the Sidebar by swiping right from the left side of your screen.
   • Alternatively, tap the Sidebar menu icon in the upper-left corner.
2. At the top, tap Search.
3. Type a keyword from the item's name or content.
   

   Use the tabs and filters at the top to narrow results by type, status, assignee, and more.

4. Matching results automatically display.

Search from Home

To search from Home:

1. At the top, tap Search.
2. Type a keyword from the item's name or content.
   

   Use the tabs and filters at the top to narrow results by type, status, assignee, and more.

3. Matching results automatically display.

Search from the Inbox or My Work

To search from the Inbox or My Work:

1. In the upper-right, tap the search icon.
2. Type a keyword from the item's name or content.
