When you open a Channel, you can add Followers, start SyncUps, and more from the header.

Access Posts
You can quickly access all Posts in a Channel by clicking the Posts tab in the upper-left.
Use the ellipsis menu
Hover over the Channel name in the upper-left corner to access the ellipsis... menu, where you can take the following actions:

| Mark as unread | Mark the Channel unread. |
| Rename | Rename the Channel. |
| Copy link | Copy the URL to the Channel. |
| Pin/Unpin | Pin or unpin the Channel from your Chat sidebar. |
| Move to section | Move the Channel to another section in your Chat sidebar. |
| Make Private/Public | Make the Channel private or public. |
| Import from Slack | Start importing your Slack channels, users, and communication history. |
| Notification settings | Customize which notifications you receive for the Channel. |
| Follow/Unfollow | Follow or unfollow the Channel. |
| Delete Channel | If you have permission, delete the Channel. |
View Followers
To see Followers and people with access to the Channel, click the Followers icon in the upper-right.
Update Channel notification settings
You can update your notification settings for the Channel by clicking the bell icon in the upper-right.
Start a SyncUp
Collaborate live with your colleagues!
To start a SyncUp with everyone in the Channel, click the phone icon in the upper-right corner.
To copy the SyncUp link:
- In the upper-right next to the phone icon, click the expand icon.
- Select Copy SyncUp Link.
Use ClickUp AI
Workspaces using ClickUp AI can ask AI about recent conversations or get a summary by clicking the ClickUp AI icon in the upper-right corner.

Access views
Location-based Channels also have a Views Bar in the header.
You can use the Views Bar to open any of the views at that location or add a new view.
Use the details sidebar
To see open the Channel details sidebar, click the sidebar icon in the upper-right corner.
From the details sidebar, you can do the following:
- Pin the Channel to your current sidebar layout. Each layout has its own pinned Channels.
- Start a SyncUp with everyone in the Channel.
- Click the ClickUp AI icon to use Catch me up to generate a Channel activity summary.
- Follow or unfollow the Channel.
- Create or edit the Channel topic.
- Create or edit the Channel description.
- View, search, add, or remove Followers and see everyone who has access to the Channel.
- Access ClickUp integrations via Zapier.
- View or open any files uploaded to the Channel.
- Update additional Channel options. Options vary based on your user role and permissions.
