Start a SyncUp to collaborate with your team instantly!

Start a Channel SyncUp

To start a SyncUp from any Chat Channel:

  1. In the upper-right corner, click the SyncUps icon to immediately start the call. Or, type /SyncUp and press Return on Mac or Enter on PC.
  2. A message will be posted in the Channel allowing others to join.

  3. Toggle your mic, camera, and more using the mini player in the lower-left corner.

You can see who is in the SyncUp by hovering over the avatars on the SyncUp message or by clicking the participants icon in fullscreen mode.

Invite people individually

You can individually invite someone to a Channel SyncUp after it has started:

  1. At the bottom of the mini player or fullscreen mode, click the ellipsis ... icon and select Invite people.
    • If the SyncUp is displayed in the toolbar, hover over the SyncUp to reveal the mini player.
  2. Search for and select people to invite.

  3. Click Invite.
  4. Invitees will see a pop-up on their screen accompanied by a ringing sound. They can join or decline the call from the pop-up.

    Due to browser autoplay policies, we recommend using the ClickUp desktop app for the best experience.

Start a Channel SyncUp from a location

You can start a SyncUp from any location that has a Channel associated with it:

  1. Open any view in the location.
  2. In the upper-right corner, click the SyncUps icon to immediately start the call.

  3. A message will be posted in the Channel allowing others to join.
  4. Toggle your mic, camera, and more using the mini player in the lower-left corner.

Start a direct message SyncUp

To start a SyncUp from a direct message:

  1. In the upper-right corner, click the SyncUps icon to immediately start the call. Or, type /SyncUp and press Return on Mac or Enter on PC.
  2. Everyone in the direct message will see a pop-up on their screen accompanied by a ringing sound. Additionally, a message will be posted in the direct message allowing others to join.
  3. Toggle your mic, camera, and more using the mini player in the lower-left corner.
