Delete a Channel

There are multiple ways to delete a Channel.

From your Home Sidebar

To delete a Channel from your Home Sidebar:

1. In your Global Navigation, click Home.
2. In the Channels section of your Home Sidebar, hover over the Channel and click the ellipsis ... icon.
   • Alternatively, right-click the Channel.
3. Select Delete Channel.
   
4. To confirm, click Delete.

From the Chat Sidebar

To delete a Channel from the Chat Sidebar:

1. In your Global Navigation, click Chat.
   • If you don't see the item in your Global Navigation, click More and select it.
   • To keep the item visible in your Global Navigation, pin it.
2. In the Chat Sidebar, right-click the Channel.
3. Select Delete Channel.
4. To confirm, click Delete.

From its header

To delete a Channel from its header:

1. Open the Channel.
2. At the top, hover over the Channel name.
3. Click the ellipsis ... menu.
4. Select Delete Channel.
5. To confirm, click Delete.

From the details sidebar

To delete a Channel from the details sidebar:

1. Open the Channel.
2. In the floating sidebar on the right, click Settings or the Settings icon.
3. In the details sidebar, scroll down and select Delete Channel.
4. To confirm, click Delete.
