Bookmark the Workspace locations you use the most with the Favorite setting to save more time!
Your Favorites are unique to you. They can be displayed in your Sidebar or pinned to the top of your Workspace.
What you'll need
- Favorites are available on all ClickUp plans.
- Everyone, including guests, can create Favorites.
Available Favorites
You can Favorite the following locations and items in your Workspace:
- Dashboards
- Views (including views at the Everything level)
- Spaces
- Folders
- Lists
- Tasks
- Docs
- Pages
- Sprints
- Current Sprint
Add a Favorite
Adding a Favorite differs depending on the item or location.
To Favorite a task using ClickUp 3.0:
- Open the task.
- In the upper-right corner, click the star icon
To Favorite a task using ClickUp 2.0:
- Open the task.
- Click the ellipsis ... to the right of the Share button.
- Select Add to and Add to favorites.
To Favorite a Space, Folder, or List:
- In the Sidebar, navigate to the Space, Folder, or List.
- Click the ellipsis ... and select Add to favorites.
To Favorite a view using ClickUp 3.0:
- In the Views Bar, click the view name.
- Select Add to favorites.
To Favorite a view using ClickUp 2.0:
- In the Views Bar, click the view name.
- Hover over the view name and click the ellipsis ... .
- Select Add to favorites.
To Favorite a Doc:
- Open the Doc.
- In the upper-right corner, click the star icon.
Once you've added a Favorite Doc, you can open it from anywhere in your Workspace using the Favorites section in your Sidebar.
Pin the Favorites menu
To quickly access your Favorites, pin them to the top of your Workspace.
- In the Sidebar, hover over Favorites.
- Click the pin icon.
