Share a Channel from a message

To share a Channel with someone by @mentioning them in a message:

1. When drafting a message, type @, followed by their name.
2. Above your draft, select a permission level and click Add.
3. The person will gain access to the Channel and become a Follower. If it is a location-based Channel, they will gain access to its Hierarchy location as well.

Share a Channel from the sidebar

To share a Channel with someone from the Chat sidebar:

1. Right-click the Channel.
2. Select Copy link to copy it to your clipboard.
3. You can now share the link with others in your Workspace.

Share a Channel from its header

To share a Channel with someone from its header:

1. Open the Channel.
2. In the upper-right corner, click the Followers icon.
3. In the Followers sidebar, search for the person you want to add.
4. Hover over their name and click Invite.
5. The person will gain access to the Channel and become a Follower. If it is a location-based Channel, they will gain access to its Hierarchy location as well.

Invitees will receive a notification in their Inbox that the Channel was shared with them.

Share a Channel from the details sidebar

To share a Channel with someone from the details sidebar:

1. Open the Channel.
2. In the upper-right corner, click the sidebar icon.
3. In the details sidebar, click the search bar under Followers.
4. In the Followers sidebar, search for the person you want to add.
5. Hover over their name and click Invite.
6. The person will gain access to the Channel and become a Follower. If it is a location-based Channel, they will gain access to its Hierarchy location as well.

Invitees will receive a notification in their Inbox that the Channel was shared with them.
