What you'll need
- /Slash Commands are available on every ClickUp plan.
- Everyone, including guests, can use /Slash Commands.
Supported locations
Use of /Slash Commands varies by location. /Slash Commands can be used in the following locations:

Task descriptions, task comments, comments in your Inbox, and subtasks
- Some commands available in tasks aren't available in subtasks.
- Docs
- Text cards
- Notepad
- Chat

/to see the /Slash Commands that are unique to the AI Command Bar.
- Type
/Slash Commands cannot be used in these locations:
- Super Agent builder.
- Autopilot Agent builder.
- The main ClickUp Brain AI access points in the toolbar and the location overview.
Use /Slash Commands
To use /Slash Commands, navigate to a location where they can be applied.
- Type a forward slash
/to open the /Slash Command modal. - Scroll to find a shortcut and click to select.

Tabor use the arrow keys to search, then pressReturnorEnterto select. -
After you've memorized some frequently-used commands, you can type
/+ the command +Enter,Space, orReturnto complete the command.When using /Slash Commands in Notepad, expand to full screen to easily view all commands.
