Quickly create tasks, Docs, reminders, Chat Channels, and Whiteboards from anywhere in your Workspace. 

What you'll need

• You can create unlimited tasks using quick-create on all plans.
• Guests with full edit permissions can create items.

Create items with AI

You can use AI to create items, or to fill out text for task descriptions, docs, or to fill out AI Fields.

Create items

You can quickly create items and locations from anywhere in your Workspace.

Create items from the toolbar

To create items from multiple places in the toolbar:

• Click Search and type Create.
• In the upper-right, click on a pinned personal tool.
• In the upper-right corner, click your avatar to access unpinned personal tools.

Personal tools include options to create a task, Doc, Reminder, Whiteboard, Dashboard, track time, and record a Clip.

Create items from your Global Navigation

Many of the pages opened from your Global Navigation have a create button in the top-right corner of their respective sidebars.

The items you can create vary depending on the tab.
