Intro to mobile Home 3.0

The Home page is your centralized place to work on the ClickUp mobile app.

Customizable cards allow you to create a tailored hub for all your work. Use them to track tasks, reminders, and events from anywhere.

This article overviews Home in mobile 3.0. If you are using mobile 2.0, read our Mobile Home 2.0 overivew article.

What you'll need

  • Home is available on every ClickUp plan.
  • Everyone, including guests, can use Home.
  • Mobile Home 3.0 can be used simultaneously with ClickUp 2.0 on web or desktop.

Go Home

When you open the mobile app, you're at Home by default.

You can change your default launch page in your settings.

You can navigate Home from other locations in the app using the left Sidebar or Navigation toolbar at the bottom of the app.

Sidebar

To get Home using the left Sidebar:

  1. In the upper-left corner, tap the Sidebar menu icon to open the Sidebar.
    • Alternatively, swipe right from the left side of the screen.
  2. Tap Home.

Navigation toolbar

To get Home using the Navigation toolbar, tap the Home icon in the lower-left corner.

Home cards

Customize your mobile Home with cards.

Each card serves a different purpose and can be added, removed, or reordered however you like. To open a card in fullscreen and see all relevant items, tap See all to the right of the card name.

Card types

Below is a list of all available cards.

Card Description
Favorites See items and locations you added to your Favorites. Tap any item or location to open it.
Recents See items you recently opened on your computer or mobile device. Tap any item to open it.
My Work See the work that is assigned to you, grouped by due date. Tap any item to open it.
Legacy My Work See the work that is assigned to you in the legacy layout. Tap any item to open it.
Tray

See tasks and Docs you've minimized to the Tray. Tap any item to open it.

To remove an item from your Tray:

  1. Tap See all next to the card.
  2. Swipe left on the item.
  3. Tap Remove from Tray.
Calendar

See tasks that are assigned to you in a calendar layout. Tap any item to open it.

Tap any date to create a new task. The new task will be due on the date you select by default.

You'll see both ClickUp tasks and Google Calendar events if you've synced your calendar with ClickUp.
Reminders See your reminders. Tap any reminder to open it.
Legacy Assigned Comments See all unresolved comments assigned to you. Tap any comment to open its thread. Tap Resolve to resolve a comment.

Add and remove cards

To add or remove cards:

  1. Open the Home settings:
    • At the bottom, tap Customize Home.
    • In the upper-right corner, tap the Home settings icon and select Choose your cards.
  2. To the right of a card, tap the toggle to enable or disable it.

Reorder cards

You can reorder cards to optimize your Home workflow.

To reorder cards from Home:

  1. Open the Home settings:
    • At the bottom, tap Customize Home.
    • In the upper-right corner, tap the Home settings icon and select Choose your cards.
  2. Tap and hold the drag handle to the right of a card to reorder it.

Edit Home settings

To customize Home, tap the Home settings icon in the upper-right corner.

You can take the following actions from the Home settings menu:

  • Choose your cards: Enable, disable, or reorder your Home cards.
  • Multiline titles: Allow long task titles to take up multiple lines.
  • Item breadcrumbs: Show the exact Space, Folder, and List your items live in underneath their names.
  • My Calendar settings: You can sync an external calendar with your Workspace or decide if you want to show future tasks in your mobile calendar using this menu.
