Assign a Chat message to indicate an action item and who is responsible for it.

Assign a Chat message

To assign a message:

  1. In any Channel or direct message, hover over the message.
  2. In the message toolbar, click the Create or Assign icon.
  3. Click Assign to.
  4. Search for and select someone.
