Create tasks, reminders, Docs, and more from anywhere in your Workspace.
Pinning an item to the toolbar only applies to you. It won't pin items for anyone else in your Workspace.
Personal Tools are available on every ClickUp plan to all user roles.
Customize the toolbar
You can pin or unpin the following Personal Tools to your toolbar:
| Tool | Description |
| My Work | Open your Profile in a sidebar on the right. |
| Track Time | Open the time tracking modal to start or edit time entries. |
| Notepad | Open your Notepad. |
| Record a Clip | Start recording a Clip. |
| Talk to Text |
Use Talk to Text to transcribe your voice. You can create a task from the transcription or copy the transcription to your clipboard. |
| Create Reminder | Create a reminder. |
| Create Doc | Create a Doc. |
| Create Whiteboard | Create a Whiteboard. |
| View People | Open the AI Command Bar with the People filter activated. |
| Create Dashboard | Create a Dashboard. |
| AI Notetaker | Send AI Notetaker to an ad hoc meeting. |
Pin or unpin items
To pin or unpin a Personal Tool to the toolbar:
- In the upper-right corner, click your personal avatar.
- Under Personal Tools, click the pin icon to pin or unpin the available tools.
The Create task tool cannot be unpinned.
