Save tasks, Docs, and views as templates to efficiently apply an established format to new Workspace items.
What you'll need
- Templates are available on every plan.
- Guests only have access to templates for Docs, tasks, views, checklists, and Whiteboards.
- Guests with edit or full permissions can create templates.

Create a template
To create a template:

Open the Workspace item.

Click the ellipsis ... to open the settings menu.

Select Templates.

Click Save as Template.

From the Save as new Template modal, type a template name to create a new template.

Optional: Add a description, tags, and select sharing options.

Click Save.
