Reuse Lists anywhere in your Workspace to quickly set up new projects for your team!
What you'll need

Templates are available on all ClickUp Plans.

Guests can't use List templates as they aren't allowed to create Lists.
Find a List template
Create a new List using a List template.

From the sidebar click the ellipsis ... on a Space, Folder, or List.

Note: Finding a List template from the List settings menu creates a new List in the same Space or Folder.

Select Template Center and then Browse Templates.

Filter by template type to just see List templates.

Search for a template from your Workspace or from the ready-to-use templates created by ClickUp.

Select a List template to see more detail.

Select Use Template.
-
Add a List name, location, import options, and more.

Select Use Template and a new List will appear in the Sidebar.
Create a List template
You can save a List as a template to reuse it for future projects.

Create a List and add tasks, views, and Automations that you would like to save as a template.

Click the List settings ellipsis ... in the sidebar.

Select Template Center.

Select Save as Template.

Choose a name, add a description (optional), and select sharing settings.

Select your Import options.
-
Click Save.

Your new List template will be available to use throughout your Workspace!
Update a List template
You can modify existing List Templates to make sure they have the most up-to-date information.

Create a new List using an existing template.

Make any changes and updates to the tasks, views, and Automations.

Click the List settings ellipsis ... in the sidebar.

Select Template Center.

Select Update existing Template.

Search for and choose the existing template you wish to update.

Click Next.

You can rename and update the sharing preferences for your template.

Select your Import options.
-
Click Save.
Delete a List Template
Need to tidy up your List templates? Consider deleting the templates you no longer need.
Warning: Once you delete a template, it's gone forever.

Open the Template center.

Select the template you wish to delete.

In the template preview, select Delete Template.
