Calculation types
There are several calculation options that vary by field type:
- Count
- Count values
- Count unique values
- Count empty
- Percent

Calculate columns
To calculate a column in List or Table view:
- Hover over the column.
- If you don't see the column, add it to your view.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the column and click Calculate.
- Select one of the available calculation options.
- Click Calculate.
Tasks that are excluded due to a filter will not be included in the column calculation.
Time estimates and time tracked that rollup from subtasks to parent tasks are always included in column calculations. This includes estimates and time tracked from closed subtasks, even when closed subtasks are not displayed in your List or Table view.
After calculating a column in List view, you'll see results for each group in your view, as well as a calculation for the entire column when you click on the calculated amount.
Remove column calculations
If you no longer want to see a column calculation in List or Table view, you can remove it.
To remove a column calculation:
- Hover over the column.
- If you don't see the column, add it to your view.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the column and click the calculated amount.
- Click the delete icon.
