Record a SyncUp

Workspace Owners and admins can disable SyncUp Recording by deactivating the Clip: Record & Share ClickApp.

SyncUp recording is supported on MacOS Sequoia and above. It may work on lower versions of macOS, but we don't guarantee support.

Record a SyncUp

You can record SyncUps from the mini player or fullscreen mode.

The mini player

To record a SyncUp from the mini player:

  1. Click the record icon.
  2. The recording will begin.

While the meeting is being recorded, a recording icon will display in the upper-right corner of the mini player.

Fullscreen mode

To record a SyncUp from fullscreen mode:

  1. At the bottom, click the record icon.
  2. The recording will begin.

While the meeting is being recorded, a recording icon will display in the upper-right corner of fullscreen mode.

Open SyncUp recordings

You can open your past SyncUp recordings and transcriptions from the Clips Hub:

  1. At the top, click the SyncUps tab.
  2. Scroll through your recordings or search for keywords using the search bar in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select the SyncUp recording to watch it.

Comment on SyncUp recordings

To leave a comment on a SyncUp:

  1. Open the SyncUp recording from the Clips Hub.
  2. In the lower-right, click Add comment.
    • Alternatively, click Comments in the right sidebar.
  3. At the moment in the Clip you want to leave the comment, click the location in the recording you want to display your personal avatar.
  4. Type your comment. Comments are automatically assigned to anyone, but can be manually assigned to an individual or Team before sending.
  5. Click Send.

Access SyncUp transcriptions

After opening a SyncUp recording, you can access its transcription by clicking Transcript in the right sidebar.

Generate a SyncUp summary

After opening a SyncUp recording, you can generate a summary of the meeting using ClickUp AI by clicking Summarize in the right sidebar.

Share a SyncUp recording

Share the recording of a SyncUp with other people.

SyncUp recording links are public, so you can share the recording with anyone.

Anyone who has joined your Workspace can view the transcript and add comments to the SyncUp recording.
