HIPAA Workspaces cannot use AI Notetaker to generate notes for SyncUps. HIPAA Workspaces can use AI Notetaker to generate notes in Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet meetings.

Activate AI Notetaker

Before you can use AI Notetaker in SyncUps, an admin or owner in your Workspace must activate the AI Notetaker ClickApp.

Use AI Notetaker in a SyncUp

To activate AI Notetaker in a SyncUp:

  1. Start or join a SyncUp.
  2. Click the AI Notes button:
    • Fullscreen SyncUp: Click the AI Notes toggle in the lower-left corner.
    • Mini player: Click the ellipsis ... icon and select Start AI Notes.
  3. To have AI Notetaker automatically take notes for future SyncUps in this Channel or direct message, click the Automatically start in future calls checkbox in the lower-left corner.

Open your AI notes

When a SyncUp that has AI Notetaker activated concludes, the Join/Leave button on the SyncUp Chat message turns into a View AI Notes button. Clicking it will open your AI notes Doc.

You can also view the SyncUp notes Doc from Docs Hub.

Additionally, a summary and link to the notes will automatically be posted as a reply to the SyncUp Chat message.
