Screen sharing is supported on MacOS Sequoia and above. It may work on lower versions of macOS, but we don't guarantee support.

Share your screen

To share your screen in a SyncUp:

1. Start or join a SyncUp.
2. At the bottom, click the screen icon.

   

3. Select one of the options:
   • Tab You can enable or disable audio when sharing a tab.
   • Window
   • Entire Screen
4. Click Share.

To stop sharing:

• Click Stop sharing at the bottom or top of your screen.
• Click the screen icon at the bottom of the SyncUp.

Draw on a shared screen

While someone shares their screen, anyone in the SyncUp can draw on it, including the person sharing. Everyone in the call sees the drawings as they're made, and people who join the SyncUp later also see the drawings already on the screen.

To draw on a shared screen:

1. Open the SyncUp in fullscreen. The mini player shows drawings, but you can't draw there.
2. At the bottom, click the pen icon. It is displayed only while someone is sharing.
3. Click and drag on the shared screen to draw.
4. To stop drawing, click the pen icon again.

When you finish a stroke, your avatar appears next to it for a few seconds so others know who drew it.

If you share your entire screen from the ClickUp desktop app, the drawings also appear on your screen itself, over the apps you're sharing. You can't click or draw on this layer. Window shares, tab shares, and shares from a browser only show drawings inside the SyncUp.

Erase drawings on a shared screen

Drawings stay on the shared screen until someone erases them, the person who drew them leaves the SyncUp, or the screen share ends.

To erase drawings, click the eraser icon at the bottom. The icon only appears when there's something to erase.

If you're sharing your screen, the eraser removes any drawings made, including drawings made by others. When both you and others have drawn, you can select Clear All Drawings or Clear My Drawings.

If you're not sharing your screen, the eraser will only remove your drawings.

Zoom in on a shared screen

To zoom in on someone's shared screen in a SyncUp, click the plus icon in the lower-left corner. Zoom out by clicking the minus icon.

Adjust the sidebar size

When a screen is being shared in a fullscreen SyncUp, you can click and drag the participants sidebar's divider to adjust its size.
