Hide Custom Fields from guests and limited members

Show or hide individual Custom Fields from all guests and limited members in your Workspace.

Guests and limited members with view only or comment permissions to a task cannot see its Custom Fields, regardless of this setting.

What you'll need

  • You can hide Custom Fields from guests and limited members on paid plans.
  • Workspace owners on the Business Plus and Enterprise Plans can use custom role permissions to manage Custom Fields.
  • Guests with edit or full edit permissions can edit existing Custom Fields, but cannot create new ones.

Hide a Custom Field

To hide a Custom Field from the Custom Field Manager:

  1. Click the Custom Field you want to hide.
  2. In the Edit field sidebar, disable Visible to guests and limited members.
