Activate the Chat ClickApp
To use Chat, the ClickApp must be activated in your Workspace.
To activate the Chat ClickApp:
- Open the App Center.
- In the App Center sidebar, click All ClickApps.
- Search for and select the Chat ClickApp.
- Click the toggle to enable it.
Chat view is not accessible while the Chat ClickApp is activated. The Comment Reactions and Threaded Comments ClickApps cannot be deactivated while the Chat ClickApp is activated.
Open Chat in ClickUp 4.0
In ClickUp 4.0, Channels and direct messages live in your Home Sidebar section and can also be accessed from the Chat Sidebar.
Open Chat in ClickUp 3.0
To open Chat in ClickUp 3.0, click Chat in the Sidebar.
