Get real-time answers about your connected apps like Slack and GitHub.

For example, you could ask Brain to search for a Slack conversation, or have your Super Agent search for a recent GitHub commit. This enterprise-level search keeps you focused on work and not switching apps.

What you'll need

• ClickUp Brain AI feature availability and limits vary by plan and user role. Learn more
• Workspace owners and admins can enable the Connected Search ClickApp and connect apps.
• Guests can't use Connected Search.

Supported apps

To search a connected app using Brain or Super Agents:

• The Connected Search ClickApp must be enabled in your Workspace.
• The Connected Search feature must be activated for the app. This can be done from the App Center.
• The app must be supported. See the full list of supported apps below.

Supported apps

Brain and Super Agents can search the following apps:

• Google Drive
• GitHub
  • Only Workspace connections can be searched.
• Confluence
  • Only Workspace connections can be searched.
• Slack
• Jira
• SharePoint
• Dropbox
• Box
  • Only plain text, HTML, CSV, and PDF files can be searched.
• OneDrive
• Gmail
  • Only personal connections can be searched.
• Microsoft Teams

Unsupported apps

Brain and Super Agents cannot search the following apps:

• Notion
• Salesforce

Use Brain to search an app

To use Brain to search one of the supported apps:

1. Open Brain.
2. In the Brain modal, in the lower-left corner, click the plus icon.
3. Select the app you want to search and ask Brain about information or files in the app. Here are a few examples:
   • Click the Google Drive icon. Then, in the prompt field, type: "Is there a template we can use for weekly updates?"
   • Paste the link to a Google Sheet. Then, in the prompt field, type: "How many people attended our last event?"
   • In the prompt field type, "Search the Jan 16th event Sheet, and create a list of the people who attended our last event and their email addresses."

   • After Brain responds, you have the following choices:

     Options	Description
     Copy	Copy the text to paste it manually into another location.
     Create task	Create a task using the content.
     Create Doc	Create a Doc using the content.
     Retry	Get a different response from the prompt.
     Like or Dislike	Click Like or Dislike to help us improve Brain AI.
     Follow ups	Brain will usually suggest contextual follow ups.
     Tell AI what to do next	Continue to chat with Brain using natural language.

Allow Super Agents to search an app

In the Knowledge section of your Super Agent's profile, activate each app that you want it to be able to search.
