Use the Salesforce Connected Search integration to search for and preview Salesforce records in ClickUp! Search records, see detailed Salesforce link previews in tasks, and create new Salesforce tasks and leads from Command Center without leaving ClickUp.

What you'll need
- The Salesforce Connected Search integration is available on every ClickUp plan.
- Guests cannot use the Salesforce Connected Search integration.
Enable the Salesforce Connected Search integration
Members, admins, and owners can enable the integration using a personal connection. Workspace connections are not available for this integration.
To enable the Salesforce Connected Search integration:
- Open the App Center.
- Browse for and select Salesforce.
- Click Connect.
- Log in to your Salesforce account.
- Click Allow to grant ClickUp access.
Search Salesforce records using Connected Search
After enabling the Salesforce Connected Search integration, you can manually enable Personal Connected Search.
The following Salesforce records can be searched:
- Tasks
- Opportunities
- Contacts
- Leads
- Accounts
- Quotes
- Contracts
- Case objects
Salesforce link previews
When you paste a Salesforce task, opportunity, contact, lead, or account link into a ClickUp task, Chat, or Doc, you'll see the option to paste it as a preview, mention, or URL.

Salesforce app panel in Task view
After you paste your first Salesforce link in a task description or comment, you'll see a new Salesforce icon in the right sidebar of your Task view. You can click this icon at any time to see every Salesforce link posted in the task.
Previews are grouped by type. You can switch between grid and table layouts using the icons in the upper-right corner.

Create a Salesforce task
To create a new Salesforce task from ClickUp:
- Open the Command Center:
- At the top of your Workspace, click Search.

Disconnect the integration with Salesforce
If you no longer wish to use the integration, you can disconnect it.
To disconnect the integration with Salesforce, from the App Center:
- Browse for and select Salesforce.
- Click the ellipsis ... menu and select Disconnect.
You can add the Salesforce Connected Search integration back to your Workspace at any time.

Can I customize which Salesforce item fields display in ClickUp?
Customization options are not currently available. You can view tasks, opportunities, contacts, leads, and accounts with predefined fields.
What happens to my data if I disconnect the integration?
Disconnecting the integration does not delete your data from either platform. When you disconnect, you'll lose the ability to view Salesforce link previews in ClickUp.
Can I track changes made through Salesforce in ClickUp?
Yes, changes made in Salesforce are updated in ClickUp link previews, ensuring your data stays synchronized across both platforms.
Can I integrate multiple Salesforce accounts with ClickUp?
No, each ClickUp member can only connect to one Salesforce account at a time using a personal connection.
If only I have Salesforce connected with ClickUp, what will other Workspace members see when I post a Salesforce URL in ClickUp?
