Use card filters

Filter the data displayed on each card on Dashboards and Overviews. Use card filters to include tasks that meet specific criteria, so you can report on meaningful metrics and visualize a refined dataset.

You can also apply Dashboard filters to all supported cards on a Dashboard, and combine them with card filters to further refine the data.

Both Dashboard and card filters support using mixed filters to show work that meets complex criteria.

Cards feature availability and limits vary by plan and user role. Learn more

Filters for time-based cards

Filters always apply to the current state of the task, even if the card is shows task data over time.

For example, a Priority Over Time card is filtered to include tasks assigned to you. If a task is reassigned to someone else, it will not be included in the data displayed on the card.

Filter subtasks on Task List cards

To apply filters to subtasks in a Task List card, you must display subtasks separately.

Add a filter to a card

To add a filter to a card:

  1. In the upper-right corner of a card, click Filters.

You can also apply filters from the card settings menu.

  2. Select a filter type from the dropdown menu.
  3. Set your filter preferences.
  4. Click Apply.

Saved card filter changes remain active when looking at Dashboards on the mobile app.
