Check how much storage you've used in your Free Forever Plan Workspace. You can free up more space, or consider upgrading to a paid Plan.
Storage is any attachment that you upload to tasks, List info, the Notepad, or Docs including cover images uploaded from your device.
Storage does not include the text in tasks or data related to the actual information. It only includes attachments.
What you'll need

Our Free Forever Plan includes 100 MB of storage.

All paid plans include unlimited storage.

Guests can upload attachments.
Check how much storage your Workspace has used
Workspace owners and admins can check how much storage their Free Forever Plan Workspace has used.

Click on your profile avatar in the lower-left corner and select Upgrade.

At the top of the page, you'll be able to view the amount of storage used for this Workspace, as well as your remaining storage available.

Options to free up storage space
To free up storage space, you can:
Find all tasks with attachments in ClickUp
You can find every task with attachments using the Everything view.

Create a List view at the Everything level.

Set your view to show subtasks separately and show closed tasks.

Look for tasks with the paper clip icon indicating that they have attachments

Add a filter to check for Archived tasks and subtasks

Check any archived Spaces and archived Folders and Lists to check they are no tasks with attachments in them.
Delete tasks and Docs with attachments
You can delete tasks and Docs that have attachments. Items in the Trash do not count towards your storage limit unless you restore them.
You can also delete Spaces, Folders, or Lists that include tasks with attachments to free up storage space.
Note: Deleted items remain in Trash for 30 days before being permanently deleted.
Delete file attachments from tasks
You can delete individual attachments from tasks.

From a task scroll down to the attachments section.

Hover over an attachment and click on the trash can icon.

Delete file attachments from List Info
You can delete individual attachments added to List Info.

Open List Info

Hover over an attachment and click the trash can icon.

Delete file attachments in Docs
You can delete individual files attached to Docs.

Click Docs to view Docs Home and select All.

Find the Docs that have attachments or cover images.
-
Remove or replace the cover image.

Depending on the type of file attached, hover over the file and either click the x icon or the trash can icon.

Delete file attachments from the Notepad
You can delete individual files attached to notes in the Notepad.

From anywhere in your Workspace, use the
p
hotkey or click the Quick Action button in the lower-right corner of your screen to access the Notepad. -
Find the notes that have attachments.

Hover over the file and click the trash can icon.
