Task fields
Task fields are displayed below the title, above the task description.
Fields that are not set can be shown or hidden. Click More to show all available task fields.
Available task fields
The available task fields always include:
- Status
- Dates
- Assignees
- Tags
Depending the on ClickApps activated for your Workspace or the Space where the task lives, task fields may include:
- Priority
- Sprint Points
- Tags
- Time estimates
- Track time
- Dependencies
Task description
The task description is a space for you to describe the work to be done in the task.
You can write it yourself, or have ClickUp AI write for you.
Similar to a Doc, you can use rich-text formatting, include links and embed content, and attach images and files.
Using the text toolbar, you can create a task and create a subtask with AI or manually.
View the task description in full screen mode
You can view the task description in full-screen mode.
- Hover at the upper-right corner of the task description field and click the Full screen icon.
- To return to the task, to the right of the task title click Exit full screen. Or in the upper-left corner, click Back to task.
View task description history
You can view and restore the history of edits made to the task description:
- Hover at the upper-right corner of the task description field and click the History icon.
- To return to the task, to the right of the task title click Exit full screen. Or in the upper-left corner, click Back to task.
