This feature allows you to see the version history of your task description and to restore it. 

What you'll need

• Task description history is available on every ClickUp plan.
• Task descriptions cannot exceed 256 KB.
  

  To improve platform performance, this new usage limit was implemented on August 22, 2024.

To see and restore versions of task descriptions:

1. Open a task. 
2. Hover over the task description.
3. In the upper-right above the task description, click the clock icon to open the description history modal.
4. You can restore a version by hovering over it and clicking the clock icon on the right.
   

You can also view your task description in full screen or print it!
