Tasks right sidebar

On every task, the right sidebar lets you interact with tasks through comments and email, review task activity, find related tasks and Docs, see references and links, and take action with integrations.

The right sidebar in task view 4.0

On tasks, the right sidebar includes the following pages:

  • Comments: Comments, email threads, and task activity are displayed in chronological order.
  • Relationships: View and add related items and references that have mentioned the task.
  • Integrations: Apps with integrations, such as Github, are displayed in the right sidebar.
  • Links: A list of links on the task. For example, a link to a website pasted in the task description will be displayed on this page.
  • References: A list of tasks and docs where the task has been mentioned.
  • Add apps: Paste a link from any supported website or app, including ClickUp.

Collapse the right sidebar in task view 4.0 

To expand or collapse the right sidebar, click the arrows icon.

Badges

The icons in the right sidebar can display a count of items or a badge to let you know there's something that needs your attention, such as unread comments.

The right sidebar in task view 3.0 

In task view 3.0, the right sidebar includes the following pages:

  • Activity: Comments, email threads, and task activity are displayed in chronological order.
  • Task links: Linked tasks and references are displayed on this page.
  • Integrations: Apps with integrations, such as Github, are displayed in the right sidebar.
  • Links: A list of links on the task. For example, a link to a website pasted in the task description will be displayed on this page.
  • More: Add relationships, or paste a link from any supported website or app, including ClickUp.

Collapse the right sidebar in task view 3.0 

In task view 3.0, to collapse the right sidebar, click the icon of the currently open page.

Resize the sidebar

Click and drag the vertical divider to adjust the width of the sidebar.

Using sidebar mode

From the sidebar mode, you can switch between task details and pages in the right sidebar.
