Customize your Form! You can edit things like the question's name and description, hide questions, and require questions to be answered. You can also access Custom Field settings from your Form.

Edit a Form question
To edit a Form question:
- When you create a new question, it opens in edit mode.
- To edit an existing question, click it.
- In the open question, edit the question name or description. You can also update the following settings:
- Required: Check Required to require people to answer this question.
- Don't add the answer to the task description: Click the page icon to ensure submitted answers to this question aren't in the submission task's description.
- Hide question from form: Click the eye icon to hide this question from the Form submitter.
- Edit custom field: Click the pencil icon to edit the Custom Field. To open the Custom Field Manager, in the lower-left corner of the edit modal, click Advanced settings.
- Remove question from the form: Delete the question.
- To save your updates, click out of the question.
Custom Field advanced settings
From a Form, you can edit a Custom Field's settings or make a Custom Field from another location available to use in the Form.
To open Custom Field advanced settings:
- From the Form, click an already-added question.
- In the upper-right corner of the open question, click the pencil icon.
- In the question editor's lower-left corner, click Advanced settings.
Edit Custom Field settings
- In the Custom Field Manager's Edit field sidebar, you'll see settings that aren't available in the Form's question editor.
Add a Custom Field from another location
- If your Form was created from a Space, Folder, or List, you'll add the new Field from the Custom Field Manager.
- If your Form is a Form view, you'll add the Custom Field from the Form view.
Default values for Custom Fields
When a Custom Field has a default value set, the Form question will pre-populate with the default value.
