Use conditional logic in Forms

Use rules and conditions to add dynamic logic to your Form questions. Logic is used to guide Form submissions and capture more specific information.

For example, you can create a rule to add a Due Date field in the submission task if Urgent Priority is selected in the Form dropdown.

Add conditional logic to a Form

To add conditional logic to a Form:

  1. Click Add question.
  2. Select a question type that supports conditional logic:
    • Assignee
    • Checkbox
    • Dropdown
    • Label
    • People
    • Priority
    • Status
  3. In the lower-right corner of the question modal, turn on Conditional Logic.

  1. To add a conditional logic rule, click Add rule. You can add up to 25 rules per question.
  2. Customize the rule using the dropdown options.
    • You can create multiple conditions by clicking an existing condition and selecting Add another condition.
    • If your rule supports conditional logic, you can enable it by turning on Conditional Logic. You can nest rules with conditional logic up to five levels deep.
