Take action in ClickUp from Slack

When task links are posted in Slack, they'll automatically show details or unfurl, unless the links are added by a Slack notification. You can also update task details, like changing the status or assignee, directly in Slack.

  • Change Assignee
  • Change Priority
  • Change Due Date
  • Change Tags
  • Add Comment
  • Create a task using the /clickup new command

Choose notification types

Workspace owners and admins can decide which notifications are sent to Slack.
To customize notifications, from Slack in the App Center:
  1. Click Manage.
  2. Under Slack Notifications, click the settings icon on the right.
  3. Choose the types of notifications you want to send to Slack.
  4. Click Save.
