Change your layout

There are two layout options:

• Recents: Channels and direct messages with recent activity are listed from newest to oldest.
• Organized: Channels and direct messages are organized into customizable section. This is the default.

You can switch your layout using the toggle in the lower-left corner of the Chat sidebar.

Show parent locations

You can choose to display parent locations of location-based Channels in the Chat sidebar:

1. In the lower-right corner of the Chat sidebar, click the settings icon.
2. To the right of Sidebar Labels, click the dropdown.
3. Select Show.

Limit number of direct messages

To limit the number of direct messages that are displayed in the Chat sidebar:

1. In the lower-right corner of the Chat sidebar, click the settings icon.
2. To the right of Limit DMs in your sidebar, click the dropdown.
3. Select a limit:
   • No limit. This is the default.
   • 10
   • 20
   • 40
   • 60
   • 80
   • 100
