Open your Home Sidebar filter
To open your Home Sidebar filter:
- In your Home Sidebar, hover in the upper-right corner.

Click the filter icon.
You can also use the search bar to the left of the Home Sidebar to find specific items and locations.
Filter your Home Sidebar
To see Channels and Direct messages, the Chat ClickApp must be activated in your Workspace.
To focus on unread Chat message replies or DMs, filter your Home Sidebar.
To filter your Home Sidebar, click one of these options:

| Unread |
Display only Channels and DMs with unread messages. All Home Sidebar sections that include unread Chat messages and direct messages will be expanded. If a section does not include any unread Chat messages or direct messages, it will not be displayed while this filter is active. |
| DMs | See direct messages only. |
Clear your Home Sidebar filters
There are custom sections and default sections below the Home Sidebar section. To see these sections, clear your Home Sidebar filters.
To clear your Home Sidebar filters individually:
- On the Unread or DMs filter, click the x.
Hide your Home Sidebar filters
To hide all of your Home Sidebar filters:
- In your Home Sidebar, click the filter icon.
