Choose when Channels and direct messages are displayed

To choose when Channels and direct messages are displayed in a section:

1. In the Chat sidebar, hover over the section.
2. Click the ellipsis... icon and select Show and sort.
3. Under show in section, choose one of the options:
   • All: Show all Channels and direct messages in the section.
   • Unread: Only show Channels and direct messages with unread messages in the section.
   • Mentions Only: Only show Channels and direct messages with unread messages mentioning you in the section.

Sort Channels and direct messages

To sort the Channels and direct messages in a section:

1. In the Chat sidebar, hover over the section.
2. Click the ellipsis... icon and select Show and sort.
3. Under sort section, choose one of the options:
   • Recents: Show Channels and direct messages with recent activity first.
   • Alphabetically: Show Channels and direct messages in alphabetical order.

Mark all messages as read

To mark all Channels and direct messages in a section as read:

1. In the Chat sidebar, hover over the section.
2. Click the ellipsis... icon and select Mark all as read.
