Create Signature Custom Fields to acknowledge receipt, confirm delivery, take attendance, or enrich your Forms!
What you'll need
- 60 Custom Field uses are available on the Free Forever Plan.
- Unlimited uses are available on paid plans.
- Workspace owners on the Business Plus and Enterprise Plans can use custom role permissions to manage Custom Fields.
- Guests with edit or full edit permissions can edit and sign Signature Custom Fields.
- Guests with full edit permissions can clear signatures from Signature Custom Fields.
- Guests cannot create new Custom Fields.
- The Signature Custom Field is not available on the mobile app.
Create a Signature Custom Field
You can create Signature Custom Fields from several locations.
Leave your signature
You can sign any task using the Signature Custom Field.
Each Signature Custom Field can hold one signature. You can create multiple Signature Custom Fields if you need several sign-offs for one task!
To sign a task:
- Click the Signature Custom Field.
- In the signature box, type your signature.
- To draw your signature, click the toggle in the lower-left corner.
- Click Save.
Anyone with permission to sign a field can update it after it's been signed.
Clear a signature
To clear a signature from a task's Signature Custom Field:
- Click the signature you want to clear.
- Select Clear.
- Click Save.
