Intro to the App Center

Integrate your organization's essential systems with ClickUp!

Use the App Center to connect and manage all of your integrations in one place. Connect apps, enable Connected Search, and access ClickApps all from one place.

What you'll need

  • The App Center is available on all ClickUp plans.
  • Guests can view the App Center, but only Workspace owners, admins, and members can connect apps.
  • People can connect personal apps only if their role allows the Personal Integrations permission.
    • If that permission is turned off for their role, the personal connection option can be unavailable or disabled.
    • This permission is available on Enterprise Plans and is gradually rolling out, so it may not be visible in your Workspace yet. Its behavior is subject to change.

View all apps

The App Center opens on one scrollable page that lists every app by category. Scroll down to move through the categories, or click a category in the left sidebar under Integrations to open that section.

Each app card shows its name, a short description, and its status:

  • No status: Click Add to open the app details.
  • Connected: The app has an active connection. Click the card to view the connection.
  • Disconnected: The app needs to be connected again. Click Reconnect.

Find a specific app using the Search field in the top right.

Browse the categories in the left sidebar to find the apps most relevant to you.

Filter apps

Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow the list:

  • To filter by connection status, next to Status at the top, click All Apps, Disconnected, or Connected. The tab shows how many apps match.
  • To show only apps that work with a feature, next to Works with at the top, click Brain², Super Agents, Automations, Search, or Commands. Each filter shows how many apps match.

When a filter hides every app in a category, the category shows how many apps are hidden. Click Show to display them.

Connection types

You can connect apps to ClickUp in two ways. The connection type varies by app.

Personal connection

Personal connections are only for you. You can search both public and private files from your connected account, and no one else is able to search for files from your personal connections.

For example, you can connect Google Drive as a personal connection to ClickUp. Other people in your Workspace will not have access to your Google Drive files through ClickUp.

Workspace connection

Workspace connections enable all Workspace members to search for public files from the account you connect. Private files are not searchable.

Workspace connections enable all Workspace members to search files from the account you connect. What can be searched depends on the app. Some apps let an admin select which locations are indexed, and private files saved in those selected locations can be searched. For per-app details, read Connected Search.

Apps that require permissions

Some apps may ask you to give ClickUp permission to access and use your data.

You can always disconnect an application to revoke ClickUp’s access.
