Customize your ClickUp notifications on the mobile app.

What you'll need
- Mobile notifications are available on all ClickUp plans.
- Everyone, including guests, can enable mobile ClickUp notifications.
Customize mobile notifications in ClickUp 4.0
Notification settings can only be edited from the browser or desktop app versions of ClickUp.
To customize your mobile notifications in ClickUp 4.0:
- In a browser or the desktop app, open your Inbox.
- In the upper-right corner, click the settings icon.
- Select Notification settings.
- To the right of Mobile, click the dropdown menu.
- Choose from the four options:
- Default
- Focused
- Mentions only
- Custom
- Disable notifications

Customize mobile notifications in ClickUp 3.0
Notification settings can only be edited from the browser or desktop app versions of ClickUp.
To customize your mobile notifications in ClickUp 3.0:
- In a browser or the desktop app, open your Inbox.
- In the upper-right corner, click Customize.
- Select Notification settings.
- To the right of Mobile, click the dropdown menu.
- Choose from the four options:
- Default
- Focused
- Mentions only
- Custom
- Disable notifications

Customize mobile Chat notifications in ClickUp 4.0
To customize mobile Chat notifications:
- In a browser or the ClickUp desktop app, click your personal avatar in the upper-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- In the All settings sidebar, click Chat.
- In the Chat Notifications section, toggle on or off individual mobile notifications.
Mute or unmute mobile Chat notification sounds
Mute or unmute all mobile Chat notifications by clicking the speaker icon next to Mobile. Mute or unmute individual notification types by clicking the speaker icon next to each notification.
Customize mobile Chat notifications in ClickUp 3.0
To customize mobile Chat notifications in ClickUp 3.0:
- Open Chat from a browser or the ClickUp desktop app.
- In the lower-right corner of Chat's sidebar, click the settings icon.
- In the Chat Notifications section, toggle on or off individual mobile notifications.
Mute or unmute mobile Chat notification sounds
Mute or unmute all mobile Chat notifications by clicking the speaker icon next to Mobile. Mute or unmute individual notification types by clicking the speaker icon next to each notification.
Enable push notifications
You can see ClickUp notifications on your phone's home and lock screen by enabling push notifications.
When a notification is read on a browser or the desktop app, the push notification will automatically be cleared.
Swipe right on the notification to open the item in ClickUp.
iOS
To enable push notifications on iOS14 and later:
- Open your iPhone settings.
- At the bottom, tap Apps.
- Search for and tap ClickUp.
- Tap Notifications.
- Toggle on Allow Notifications and configure notifications to your preference.
Android
To enable push notifications:
- Open your phone's settings.
- Navigate down to the Apps banner.
- Locate and tap ClickUp.
- Make sure Notifications are Allowed.
Mobile badges
On iOS devices, the number of notifications you have displays in a red badge in the upper-right corner of the ClickUp app.
