Message a Channel

To message a Chat Channel on the mobile app:

1. Open the Channel.
2. At the bottom, tap the text field.
3. Type your message.
   • Optional: Add attachments, use rich text editing, record Voice Clips, assign the message, or use @mentions while drafting a message.
4. Type your message or use Talk to Text to transcribe your voice.
5. Tap the send icon.

Message a Channel using Talk to Text

When drafting a Chat message on the mobile app, you can use Talk to Text to transcribe your voice.

To use Talk to Text in a Chat message on the mobile app:

1. When drafting your message, tap the Talk to Text icon to start recording your voice.
   
2. When you've finished speaking, tap the checkmark icon. To cancel the recording, tap the x icon.
3. Add the transcription or audio to your draft:
   • To add the transcription of your voice, tap Insert Text.
   • To add the audio recording of your voice, tap Voice Clip.
4. Make any final additions or edits to your draft, then tap the send icon.
