Create a Channel from Home
When you create a Channel from Home, it is not associated with any location in your Workspace.
To create a new Channel from Home on mobile:
- To the right of the Channels section, tap the plus icon.
- Tap Add Channel.
- Name the Channel.
- You can make the Channel private by enabling the Make Private toggle.
- In the upper-right corner, tap Create.
Create a Channel from the create button
When you create a Channel from the create button, it is not associated with any location in your Workspace.
To create a Channel from the create button on mobile:
- At the bottom of Home, Inbox, My Tasks, or any page accessible from the More menu, tap the plus icon.

Swipe vertically and select Channel.
The options available in the create menu vary based on your user role and the ClickApps activated in your Workspace.
- Name the Channel.
- You can make the Channel private by enabling the Make Private toggle.
- In the upper-right corner, tap Create.
