Customize Folders with colors to help visually indicate project status or better distinguish your work.

Additionally, Workspace owners and admins can add or edit Folder colors to choose which colors are available across the Workspace and give each color a name. 

What you'll need

• Folder colors are available on every ClickUp plan.

• Everyone, including guests with edit or full permissions, can set Folder colors.

• Only Workspace owners or admins can add or edit the available colors.

Set Folder colors

To set a Folder color:

1. In the expanded Sidebar, click the ellipsis ... to the right of the Folder name. 
2. Select Folder settings. 
3. Select Folder color. 
4. Select, add, edit, or remove colors.
