Open your import settings
To open your import settings:
- Click your Workspace avatar and select Settings.
-
Select Imports / Exports.
- All past completed, deleted, or canceled imports are visible.
Check the status of an import in progress
Once you've started your import, you can check its progress. This table explains the import statuses you'll see:
Import status | Description |
Import Queued | We're getting ready to start your import. |
Import Pending | Your import is in progress. |
Import Completed | Your import was successful. |
Import Failed | Your import was not successful. |
Imports with the status of Import Queued and Import in Progress can be canceled.
Delete an import
You can delete any imports created in the last 10 days. When you delete an import, all items created by the import will be deleted. After 10 days, items will need to be deleted from your Spaces individually, or using the Bulk Action Toolbar.
Re-import
Once the import is complete, you can re-import your data without issue by clicking Delete imported tasks.
Restart an import
If you're having issues with your import, you can cancel it at any time and restart it.
To cancel an in-progress import:
-
In the upper-left corner, click your Workspace avatar.
- Click Settings.
-
From the sidebar, select Imports / Exports.
-
Find the import that's in progress.
-
Click Cancel Import.
- Restart your import.
The import is taking a long time
We do our best to import your data efficiently and we don't enforce any limits on the data you import. Some external apps do enforce limits. Take a look at our article for the app you're importing from for more info on limits:
Feature limits for Free Forever Plans
You may be prompted to upgrade once you've finished importing and start using specific features. Here are some feature limits for our Free Forever Plan:
-
100 mb of storage for attachments
-
60 Custom Fields
-
100 Lists and Folders per Space
Failed import
Imports can fail because your file includes merged columns with two different values or a required field doesn't have a mapped column.
If neither of these apply to your import, please reach out to Support. Our team will help you import your data successfully!
