Reply to a Channel thread

To reply to a thread in a Channel:

1. Hover over the message.
2. In the message toolbar, click the reply icon.
   
3. Type your message. You can use rich text formatting, add attachments, and more.
4. Press Return on Mac or Enter on PC.

Need to make changes to your reply? You can edit sent messages.

Reply to a direct message thread

To reply to a thread in a direct message:

1. Hover over the message.
2. In the message toolbar, click the reply icon.
3. Type your message. You can use rich text formatting, add attachments, and more.
4. Press Return on Mac or Enter on PC.
