Follow a thread

When you are @mentioned in a message, you automatically become a thread Follower.

To manually follow a thread in a Channel or direct message:

1. Hover over the message.
2. In the message toolbar, click the ellipsis... icon.
3. Select Get notified about new replies.

Unfollow a thread

You can unfollow a thread from the Replies page or its Channel or direct message.

Replies page

To unfollow a thread from the Replies page:

1. Hover over the message.
2. Click the Turn off notifications for replies icon.
   

Channels and direct messages

To unfollow a thread from its Channel or direct message:

1. Hover over the message.
2. In the message toolbar, click the ellipsis... icon.
3. Select Turn off notifications for replies.
