Open Brain on mobile

There are multiple ways to access ClickUp Brain on the mobile app.

To open ClickUp Brain on the mobile app, tap the floating ClickUp AI button at the bottom of any of the following pages:

Search with Brain

ClickUp Brain uses the context from your Workspace to answer your questions and take actions.

To search with ClickUp Brain on the mobile app:

  1. Open Brain.
  2. Type your request, use Talk to Text, or select a prompt above the search bar.
    • Optional: To upload a file, search the web, or activate deep research, tap the plus icon in the lower-left corner of the search bar.
    • Optional: To change the AI model, tap the ClickUp AI icon in the search bar.

  3. Tap the send icon.

Use Talk to Text in Brain

Save time typing and use Talk to Text inside ClickUp Brain!

To use Talk to Text in Brain on the mobile app:

  1. Open Brain.
  2. To start recording audio, tap the Talk to Text icon.

  3. When you're finished recording, tap the checkmark icon. 
  4. Your voice will automatically be transcribed and sent. 

After Brain replies, you can follow up on your inquiry or start a new search by tapping the new search icon in the upper-right corner.

Access conversation history

Your Brain conversation history is shared between the browser, desktop, and mobile ClickUp apps.

To access your previous conversations on the mobile app:

  1. Open Brain.
  2. In the upper-left corner, tap the sidebar icon.
  3. Tap Show all or use the search bar at the top to find the conversation. Tap the conversation name to open it.

Connect an app

ClickUp Brain can use context from connected apps like GitHub and Google Calendar to answer your questions.

To connect a new app from Brain on the mobile app:

  1. Open Brain.
  2. In the upper-left corner, tap the sidebar icon.
  3. At the bottom of the Apps section, tap Connect app.
  4. Tap Connect on the app you want to connect.
  5. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection.
