Schedule comments and emails

Schedule task comments or replies to be sent at a later time.

You can also send emails from tasks at a specific date and time.

Scheduling a comment or email is only available on ClickUp 4.0. Learn what's new in ClickUp 4.0

You can schedule comments and emails using both task view 3.0 and task view 4.0.

Schedule a comment

To schedule a comment, from a task:

  1. Draft your comment or threaded reply.
  2. Click the arrow next to the send icon.
  3. Set the date and time to send the comment:
    • Use natural language processing to select a date and time.
    • Choose one of the preset options.
    • Select a custom date and time using a calendar.

Schedule an email

To schedule an email, from a task:

  1. Draft your email.
  2. Click the arrow next to the send icon.
  3. Set the date and time to send the email:
    • Use natural language processing to select a date and time.
    • Choose one of the preset options.
    • Select a custom date and time using a calendar.

View, send, or delete your scheduled comments and emails

Once you've scheduled a comment or email, you'll see a reminder on the task.

Click View message to see your scheduled comment or email.

You can also view, send, or delete your scheduled comments, threaded replies, emails, and chat messages from the Drafts & Sent page
