Schedule a message
You can schedule any message or threaded reply in Channels and direct messages.
From any message or threaded reply:
- Type your message.
- To the right of the send icon, click the dropdown button.
- Choose when to send the message:
- Use natural language processing to select a date and time.
- Choose one of the preset options.
- Select a custom date and time using a calendar.
After scheduling the message, you can view it by clicking View message in the confirmation banner or from the Drafts & Sent page.

You can see all of your scheduled messages, send them early, or cancel them from the Drafts & Sent page.
