Snooze Inbox notifications you want to follow up on later. 

You can temporarily mute notifications by updating your status.

What you'll need

• Snoozing is available on all ClickUp plans.
• Everyone, including guests, can snooze their notifications.

Snooze notifications in ClickUp 4.0

When you snooze a notification in ClickUp 4.0, it will move to the Later tab until its due date and time arrives or there's an update.

You can snooze notifications from any tab in your Inbox except the Cleared tab. 

Snoozing a Chat message or comment that was saved for later converts it to a reminder.

To snooze a notification:

1. Hover over a notification group and click the Snooze button or press Z. 
   
2. Select when you want to be notified:
   
   • Use natural language processing to select a date and time.
   • Choose one of the preset options.
   • Select a custom date and time using a calendar.
3. Your notification will move to the Later tab. 

When the notification's due date and time arrives or there's an update, it will return to its original Inbox tab and display when it was unsnoozed on the right.

Snooze notifications in ClickUp 3.0

When you snooze a notification in ClickUp 3.0, it will move to the Snoozed tab until its due date and time arrives or there's an update.

You can snooze notifications from any tab in your Inbox except the Cleared tab.

To snooze a notification:

1. Hover over a notification group and click the Snooze button. Alternatively, hover over the notification group and press Z. 
2. Select when you want to be notified:
   
   • Type in a date and time using natural language.
   • Pick a preset date and time, such as tomorrow or next week.
   • Set a custom date and time.
3. Your notification will move to the Snoozed tab.

When the notification's due date and time arrives or there's an update, it will return to its original Inbox tab and display when it was unsnoozed on the right.

Manually unsnooze a notification in ClickUp 4.0

In ClickUp 4.0, you can manually unsnooze a notification from the Later tab in your Inbox:

1. Hover over a notification group and click the Snooze button. Alternatively, hover over the notification group and press Z. 
2. Select Unsnooze.

Manually unsnooze a notification in ClickUp 3.0

In ClickUp 3.0, you can manually unsnooze a notification from the Snoozed tab in your Inbox:

1. Hover over a notification group and click the Snooze button. Alternatively, hover over the notification group and press Z. 
2. Select Unsnooze.
